Diego Simeone is confident Atletico Madrid will make new signings prior to the end of the January transfer window on Monday.
Atletico were held to a 0-0 draw by Levante on Saturday, and to make matters worse, Simeone saw Alexander Sorloth and Pablo Barrios sustain injuries.
It was subsequently confirmed that Sorloth had gone to hospital for checks on a head injury, with the Norway international suffering an "incised-contused wound."
While Sorloth was cleared to return to Madrid with the rest of the squad, it adds more strain to Atletico's already hectic schedule.
And Simeone is hoping the club can address the situation by bringing in fresh faces.
He told reporters: "We are working very hard to make things happen.
"There are still two days left, which is a lot of time, two days in which a lot can happen."
Tests carried out on Alexander Sørloth have ruled out fractures and cranial hematomas. The Norwegian forward suffered a blow during the match, which caused an incised-contused wound in the left frontoparietal region.

Sørloth will return to Madrid with the squad and will remain…
Atletico only created chances worth 0.9 expected goals (xG), and Simeone cited fatigue as a factor in their lacklustre performance.
"The team played well again in the first half, we controlled the game, we could have scored a goal, they defended well," he said.
"We tried to break through, but we couldn’t. In the second half, the fatigue from these last few games every three days showed, which is logical.
"We lacked fluid play. What we had in the first half wasn’t there in the second, and that’s why we had fewer chances."
Atletico are back in action on Thursday, as they go up against Real Betis in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals, before they take on the same opponents in LaLiga on Sunday.
