Becky Hammon says she is "invested in Las Vegas Aces' greatness" after leading the side to a third WNBA Championship in four years.
The Aces completed a clean sweep over the Phoenix Mercury in the league's first best-of-seven Finals, winning Game 4 97-86 on Friday to get their hands on the trophy.
Las Vegas scored 54 points in the first half and were once again led by A'ja Wilson, who scored 31 points despite finishing with 7-of-21 from the field.
Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray both scored 18 points apiece to help push the Aces forward, with Hammon's side never trailing in the series clincher.
"I think the evolving of the game, these players are bigger, stronger, faster and more skilled," Hammon said.
"[Past] dynasties laid the groundwork and showed how winning should be done, and really gave a lot to the WNBA insofar as history.
"The skill set and level these guys [now] are at, to me, it's not comparable ... it's a natural evolvement. That's the sign of any great league; it doesn't stay the same.
"I love being their coach, I love being their friend. [I] push them sometimes to their disliking a little bit, but I'm invested in their greatness.
"This one hits differently because it was different. There was probably a lot more adversity than any of us anticipated. We're all human, and we're humans that wanted to get it right, and get it right together."

Mercury coach Nate Tibbets, meanwhile, was ejected from Game 4 late in the third quarter, as he received two quick technical fouls for arguing a call.
He is the first coach in league history to be dismissed in a Finals game and Tibbets, who was frustrated by the officiating during the game, lamented his automatic ejection.
"To me, it's just embarrassing," Tibbetts said. "I feel bad that I was tossed.
"I mean, I've been around this game a long time. I think it's one of the weakest double technicals ever. I didn't even know that I got the second one, to be completely honest. I just don't understand it.
"I feel bad for our team, our fans, my family. It wasn't needed, in my opinion.
"It's weak, weak, weak. We were playing for our playoff lives. Most coaches, when they get tossed, you're doing it on purpose. That wasn't my intention at all. I didn't feel like I deserved it at all. It was b*******."
