Mike Brown says the New York Knicks "fed off the energy" of Madison Square Garden to continue their impressive home run against the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA.

The Knicks are 7-0 at MSG, their best start at home since winning their first 10 in 2012-13 after their 133-120 victory over the Grizzlies on Tuesday.

In fact, New York are on a five-game winning streak, all at home, averaging 130.2 points during that run as they continue to enjoy a sizzling offensive start under Brown.

Jalen Brunson had 32 points and 10 assists, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 21 points and 13 rebounds, and Mikal Bridges got 21.

The Knicks closed the first quarter with a 12-0 run, turning a 30-30 tie into a 42-30 advantage and did not look back from there as they surpassed 130 points for the third game in a row.

"Our fans are fantastic," Brown said. "Playing here at MSG, playing at home, there's no better place to play for a group.

"And we fed off the energy of being here, and we figured it out. We've strung some games together because we played the right way on both ends of the floor for a little closer to 48 minutes than our previous games.

"You talk about 47 field goals made, and 35 of those were assisted, so we did do some things right. But I know, and I think some guys in the locker room feel we could have done better."

And Towns echoed that, saying: "I think we're a work in progress.

"All of us are trying to figure out where we can impact the game the most in this system. We're still working on it."

The Grizzlies, meanwhile, slumped to 4-8 for the season as they lost for the sixth time in seven games.

Having at one point trailed by 28, the Grizzlies managed to cut the gap somewhat, but Ja Morant, who finished with 16 points and 10 assists, was disappointed with the performance.

"It hurt me a lot, coming in at halftime and realizing how many turnovers I have," he said.

"Obviously, some of them [are] making a better pass while delivering the ball. Some of them were [unexplainable].

"Others were just driving in too much into no man's land. So, I just have to be better when the defense collapses to kick it to my team-mates."
