Gregor Kobel lamented Borussia Dortmund's late loss to Borussia Monchengladbach, claiming they should have settled for a draw instead of succumbing to a 1-0 defeat.
Dortmund struggled to assert themselves at Borussia-Park, as Haris Tabakovic struck in the 88th minute to snatch three points for Gladbach.
Kick-off was delayed after Dortmund's coach arrived late at the stadium due to traffic issues, but Gladbach did not let the delay deter them as they made a fast start without reward.
Nico Elvedi had a first-half goal disallowed for offside, while the hosts continued to dominate in the second half, at least until the closing stages.
But Dortmund could not find a way past Moritz Nicolas in the final 10 minutes, and Tabakovic slotted past Kobel with two minutes of the 90 remaining to clinch a victory.
Had the Black and Yellow won, they would have been assured of a second-place finish in the Bundesliga, and Kobel has called for total commitment in their final two matches.

"I'm not happy with how the match went. Gladbach played well right from the start," Kobel told DAZN. "They kept creating chances and, in the end, they were rewarded for their efforts.
"When we have a day like this, where things aren't going our way, where we've had a bit of luck with Gladbach's finishing, then we have to settle for a 0-0 draw – and that's that.
"We've done that more than enough this season. It's a shame, it's frustrating that we didn't manage to get the job done.
"Every single player knows he has a certain obligation to the badge and the club. Everyone has signed a contract for 34 games. So, we need to go out and win the last two as well."
