WNBA veteran Tiffany Mitchell has signed for the Seattle Storm as a free agent.
The guard was waived by the Las Vegas Aces on June 30 despite only joining the franchise during the last offseason.
The Storm are fifth in the standings with a record of 12-8 this season. They have, however, struggled with injuries this year, with Nika Muhl, Jordan Horston and Katie Lou Samuelson all out with ACL injuries.
Seattle have been particularly troubled with their depth in the guard position, where Zia Cooke is the only bench player to have played at least 100 minutes of action.
Welcome to Seattle, @TiffMitch25!

Mitchell, who missed the second half of the 2024 campaign due to sepsis, is hoping to alleviate some pressure on her teammates.
She has averaged 3.7 points and 1.8 rebounds across 16 games so far this season.
The Storm will be Mitchell’s fourth team in three years after previous spells with the Minnesota Lynx and the Connecticut Sun.
