Chloe Kelly is keen to build on Arsenal's Women's Champions League triumph after signing permanently for the Gunners following her successful loan spell.  

Kelly, who spent eight years in north London with the Gunners at the start of her career, rejoins the club following the expiration of her contract at Manchester City. 

The 27-year-old had relayed her intentions to leave City in January after stating she "wanted to be happy again" after a falling out with previous head coach Gareth Taylor. 

Kelly sealed a loan switch to Arsenal in January and went on to register two goals and five assists in 13 appearances across all competitions for Renee Slegers' side. 

And now the attacker is excited to get back up and running with Arsenal, with her eyes set on adding more silverware to her trophy cabinet.

"I've always said that Arsenal supporters are the best and to have them on my side, singing my name, means so much to me," said Kelly.

"I'm excited for more silverware at this special club and to bring more trophies back to North London to celebrate with our supporters."

Following her mid-season move, only Mariona Caldentey (25) and Katie McCabe (24) created more chances in the WSL for Arsenal than Kelly (17). 

She also completed 11 dribbles, the third highest for Arsenal in the top flight, while her three assists was a total only bettered by Caldentey (four). 

The England international played 68 minutes in the Gunners' 1-0 win over Barcelona in the Champions League final, helping Arsenal clinch their second title in the competition. 

Kelly made 109 appearances and scored 31 goals for City, winning the FA Cup in 2019-20 and the League Cup in 2021-22 during her five-year stint in Manchester.
