Courtney Vandersloot was in a reflective mood after setting franchise records for points and field goals as the Chicago Sky beat the Dallas Wings 97-92 on Thursday.
Kamilla Cardoso also scored a career-high 23 during the game, with Vandersloot finishing on 13 points, nine assists and four steals to leapfrog her wife Allie Quigley in the all-time table.
Vandersloot moved first in the franchise all-time standings on 3,728 points and 1,390 field goals.
Quigley had previously led the Sky's all-time points total with 3,273 and 1,386 field goals that she accrued between 2013 and 2022.
"What means the most is my time spent here," Vandersloot told reporters, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
"It just speaks to the commitment that I made to the Chicago Sky and their commitment to me as well.

"They drafted me and let me develop. We had a lot of tough seasons. It wasn't always easy."
Vandersloot had tied the record for field goals midway through the second quarter with a three-pointer before hitting another with 4:34 left on the clock in the third quarter to break the record.
Arike Ogunbowale, meanwhile, also scored a season-high points total for the Wings, having hit a three-pointer that gave them a 92-91 lead with 2:11 left in the fourth quarter.
But following six unanswered points, the Sky were able to claim their first victory of the season and they sit second-bottom in the East.
The Wings, who drafted Paige Bueckers ahead of the season, remain bottom of the West with a 1-5 record.
