Kamilla Cardoso set a WNBA record by shooting 13 for 13 from the field, scoring a career-high 30 points to lead the Chicago Sky to a 124-94 victory over the expansion Portland Fire 124-94 on Friday night.
Cardoso had the most field goals without a miss in league history and also grabbed eight rebounds as Chicago (5-12) won back-to-back games for the first time since May 9-13.
The Sky also surpassed the franchise record for points in a game of 114, with Jacy Sheldon's fourth-quarter layup breaking the mark.
Sydney Taylor added 29 points and has scored 20 or more four times this season, second among all rookies. Only Olivia Miles has more with seven.
Azura Stevens had 12 points while Skylar Diggins and Courtney Vandersloot, who made her season debut after returning from injury, each scored 10.

Williams’ scoring surge propels Valkyries
Gabby Williams scored 13 straight Golden State points in the fourth quarter, finishing with 16 to rally the Valkyries to a 78-75 victory over the Atlanta Dream.
Kiah Stokes and Kaitlyn Chen each added 13 points for the Valkyries. Williams made all four shots and was 5 for 8 on free throws in the final period to push Golden State over Atlanta for the second time in three days.
Stokes tacked on seven blocks for her seventh game this season with three or more before fouling out. Chen finished 5 for 9 off the bench. Tiffany Hayes had 12 points while Veronica Burton scored 10.
Jordin Canada scored a season-high 23 points, and Angel Reese had her 12th double-double of the year with 15 points, 12 rebounds and five steals for Atlanta (12-6). Rhyne Howard finished with nine points and moved to third on the Dream's career scoring list with 2,631 points.
Lacan, Nelson-Ododa lead Sun past Mystics
Leila Lacan and Olivia Nelson-Ododa each scored 12 points, Kennedy Burke had 11 off the bench and the Connecticut Sun beat the Washington Mystics 68-57.
Nelson-Ododa added nine rebounds for Connecticut (4-15), which has won back-to-back games for the first time all year. Lacan had four steals.
Brittney Griner and Charlisse Leger-Walker had 10 points apiece.
Georgia Amoore led all scorers with 14 points. Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen each netted 11 as the Mystics (8-9) had three players finish in double digits.
