Angel Reese led a dominant performance by Atlanta’s starters with 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Dream pulled out a 108-101 road victory over Caitlin Clark and Indiana that snapped the Fever’s four-game winning streak in the only WNBA contest on Thursday.
The Dream’s starting unit combined for 89 of the team’s 108 points, with Jordin Canada scoring 18, Naz Hillmon and Allisha Gray contributing 17 points apiece and Rhyne Howard adding 16 for Atlanta (10-4).
Clark and Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever (9-6) with 26 points each, and Aliyah Boston scored 23 to go along with eight rebounds, three assists and three blocks.
Mitchell hit three shots from beyond the arc to become the eighth player in WNBA history to make 700 career three-pointers.
These teams conclude a home-and-home series on Saturday in Atlanta.
