Bayern Munich are doing everything in their power to come out on top in this season's Champions League, so says Luis Diaz.
Bayern were last crowned European champions in 2019-20, when they beat Paris Saint-Germain.
Vincent Kompany's side face Atalanta in the first leg of their round of 16 tie on Tuesday, with the Serie A side having knocked out Borussia Dortmund in the play-off round.
Bayern have only lost one of their last 12 games in the round of 16 of the Champions League (W10 D1), although that lone defeat did come away to an Italian opponent (0-1 v Lazio in February 2024).
The Bundesliga leaders are among the favourites to win this competition, with only Arsenal (27%) better fancied than Bayern (16%) in the Opta supercomputer's simulations.
And Diaz, who finished as a runner-up in the Champions League with Liverpool in 2022, wants to go one better with Bayern this time around.
"Winning the Champions League would be incredible, and we're working hard to achieve that," Diaz told UEFA.com.
"We are a great club, we have a great team and a good manager. We are one big family, and we are working towards the same goal. We want to win everything.
"We have to work constantly, while keeping our feet on the ground, because, in modern football, any team can make things hard for you.
"These days, all the teams are strong, so we have to compete very hard."
We're ready!

Diaz has been in sensational form since swapping Anfield for Bavaria in the summer, scoring 20 goals and providing 13 assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.
In Europe's top five leagues, only Michael Olise (39), Erling Haaland (40), Kylian Mbappe (44) and Harry Kane (54) have been involved in more in 2025-26.
Bayern team-mate Kane has also been directly involved in 33 goals in 33 Champions League games for Bayern (27 goals, six assists), more than any other player in the competition since the start of the 2023-24 season.
"I admire absolutely everything about him, because I don't think there's currently another striker like him," Diaz said of Kane, who missed Friday's win over Borussia Monchengladbach due to injury but is back in the squad for the trip to Atalanta.
"He scores goals, he provides assists, he runs, he goes out on the pitch and pings you a pass from 30 yards away. He does everything with the ability he has, but also mentally.
"I think he's very strong as well. I've also learned a lot from him in that respect and I admire him for that, because he has an incredible mindset.
"He always wants to win, he always wants to help the team; he runs, he works hard, and that’s what's important.
"Having a player like that on your team gives you a feeling of assurance. He's very good. He can do it all."
