Jayson Tatum feels he is getting better with every game as he continued his comeback from injury with a history-making display for the Boston Celtics.
Tatum returned from an Achilles injury earlier this month, and turned in his best performance since his comeback on Sunday.
He scored 32 points to lead the Celtics to a 114-99 victory, which clinched their spot in the playoffs for a 12th straight season.
In the process, Tatum became the youngest player in Celtics history to reach 14,000 points.
50 wins in a gap year

"I've been fortunate enough to be on some really good teams, be surrounded by some really good players and coaches on the staff that have empowered me and helped me become the player I am today," he said of his feat.
"I was still kind of tired, so that's something I'm still working through. But I like that I'm being decisive in my movements and exploding when I need to [and] reacting.
"Obviously, it helps when you make shots. I can say I feel better than I did last game. Hopefully, I feel better in the next game than I did today."
Jaylen Brown sat out the game as he nurses a minor injury, but he hit out at Boston's doubters after the Celtics made it 50 wins for the season.
"Fifty wins in a gap year," Brown posted on social media.
