The Phoenix Suns and forward Dillon Brooks have agreed to a three-year, $73million extension that will keep him under contract through the 2029-2030 season, multiple media outlets reported on Wednesday.

Brooks is entering the final season of the four-year, $86million contract inked in 2023 as part of a sign-and-trade that sent him from the Memphis Grizzlies to the Houston Rockets.

Brooks, 30, became an essential part of the Suns’ roster last season while averaging a career-best 20.2 points.

Phoenix acquired Brooks as part of the return in the Kevin Durant trade in July 2025, and he helped the Suns make a surprise playoff appearance after going 36-46 the previous season.

Brooks joined Collin Gillespie, Jordan Goodwin and Mark Williams as members of last year’s squad to be rewarded with an extension this offseason.

The Suns’ biggest move of the offseason was acquiring forward Miles Bridges from the Charlotte Hornets for Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neale.

Bridges is entering the final season of his contract and is extension-eligible off of his $22.8million salary. Jalen Green is also extension-eligible this offseason but has a $36million player option for the 2027-28 season.
