Dillon Brooks has been instrumental to the Phoenix Suns' success, but he'll now be shelved for the stretch run of the regular season.
Brooks is expected to be sidelined four-to six weeks with a broken left hand, according to Shams Charania of ESPN on Monday.
There are just under seven weeks remaining in the regular season, which wraps up April 12.
Brooks, 30, suffered the injury to his non-shooting hand in the first quarter of Saturday's 113-110 double-overtime win over the Orlando Magic. He then watched Sunday's 92-77 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers wearing a cast on the bench.

The nine-year veteran is in his first season in Phoenix, and enjoying a career year, averaging a personal-best 20.9 points, which trails only Devin Booker's average of 24.7 points for the team lead. Brooks is also averaging a career high-tying 3.7 rebounds and 1.04 steals in 50 games.
A year after the Suns went 36-46, Brooks has helped the team to a 33-25 record, putting them just two games back of the Los Angeles Lakers for first place in the Pacific Division.
Injuries are starting to mount, however, with Booker missing the last two games with a strained right hip that is expected to keep him out for least another week. The team's No. 3 scorer, Grayson Allen, has missed five of the last six games because of ankle and knee injuries.
