England have been dealt a triple injury blow ahead of their meeting with Argentina, as Jamie George, Tom Roebuck and Ollie Lawrence have all been ruled out.

The trio all started England's 33-19 win over New Zealand last weekend, but hooker George and centre Lawrence both suffered hamstring injuries during the game.

Roebuck, who was one of the try scorers in that victory, meanwhile, will miss out with a foot injury.

It compounds England's recent injury issues, with regulars Ollie Chessum and Tommy Freeman also set to be sidelined once again, having missed the meeting with the All Blacks.

England were, however, buoyed by the return of Freddie Steward, despite him failing a head injury assessment during the first half against New Zealand on Saturday.

He passed his second and third HIAs.

Uncapped teenage wing Noah Caluori, who was named in England's initial autumn internationals squad, is called up as cover, with Jamie Blamire and Charlie Ewels also brought into Steve Borthwick’s party.

England have won all three of their autumn internationals so far, also beating Australia and Fiji.

As for the Pumas, they go to Twickenham having already beaten Wales and Scotland, against whom they recorded a stunning comeback, in the last two weeks.
