Robert Lewandowski says Marcus Rashford "has everything" to be a top player, as long as he is given the confidence to show it.
Rashford joined Barcelona on loan at the start of the season after falling out of favour at Manchester United under Ruben Amorim.
The 28-year-old notably fell out with the former Red Devils head coach last season, spending the second half of the campaign on loan at Aston Villa, where he scored four goals and registered five assists in all competitions.
Since joining Barcelona, he has regained the form he had shown under Erik ten Hag in 2022-23 when he scored 30 goals for United, his highest tally in a single season in his career.
He has netted 10 goals in all competitions, also hitting double figures for assists (10), with Barcelona still fighting for the LaLiga title as well as the Champions League.
And Lewandowski, who now sits alongside him in the dressing room, noted how important it is for Rashford to feel backed by his team in order to perform at his best.
"He has huge potential," Lewandowski told Sky Sports. "He has everything. He has speed, he has technique, he has a shot, he has left foot, right foot, skills...

"But Marcus is the guy. If you give him confidence, and he sees that you believe in him, he can give you back 200%.
"He's a very nice guy. We spoke because we are sitting in the dressing room beside [each other]. We also play ping-pong. I see that this guy is very kind, very nice guy, but also because of this, he needs someone standing behind him.
"If he does have this confidence, he can really play his best football and on the best level."
Barcelona reportedly have the option to buy Rashford for around €30m (£26m), with Spanish media suggesting the club are currently working on the deal.
