Toronto Raptors forward Brandon Ingram has new plans for this weekend.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver picked Ingram on Tuesday to replace Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry on the USA Stripes roster for Sunday's All-Star Game.

Curry has missed the Warriors' last four games because of a lingering right knee injury, and Golden State coach Steve Kerr announced on Monday he would be sidelined through the All-Star break.

Curry was voted to his 12th All-Star Game, and Kerr is hopeful that with the extra rest over the break, he'll be able to rejoin Golden State soon.

Ingram, 28, is now an All-Star for a second time in his 10-year NBA career after also earning a selection in the 2019-20 season.

Ingram is averaging a team-high 22.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists while shooting 47.2 per cent from the floor in 52 games this season.

He has helped guide a Toronto team that won 30 games all of last season to a 32-22 record - good for fifth place in the Eastern Conference.

Fellow Raptor Scottie Barnes is also headed to the All-Star Game, named to the USA Stars roster, and Toronto coach Darko Rajaković will direct the World team.

The All-Star Game will be at the Intuit Dome, the home of the Los Angeles Clippers.
