Daniela Arques has become London City Lionesses' eighth summer signing after completing her move from Sporting CP on Wednesday.
Arques has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Women's Super League side, who have made headlines with their ambitious transfer window so far.
She is London City's third Spanish acquisition this summer, with the club having already signed two-time Ballon d'Or winner Alexia Putellas and Mapi Leon from Barcelona.
Mary Earps, Nicole Anyomi, Janni Thomsen, Kadidiatou Diani and Rosa Kafaji have also signed for Eder Maestre's side ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Arques arrives having impressed for Sporting last season. She managed three assists across 32 appearances in all competitions from midfield.
She has also represented Spain at youth level and was part of the under-19s team that won back-to-back European titles in 2024 and 2025 before moving up to the U20s.
"I'm really excited to be joining London City and can't wait to get started," Arques told the club's website.
"Coming to the UK to play in the WSL is a brilliant opportunity, and I'm looking forward to developing as a player and as a person.
"Being surrounded by experienced players and learning from them every day is something I'm really excited about."
Welcome to London City, Daniela Arques
