Nikola Jokic says the Denver Nuggets are "playing the right way" after they earned a fifth straight win against the Sacramento Kings.
The Nuggets were 122-108 winners against the Kings on Tuesday as they were led by Jokic, who had 35 points and 15 rebounds. He has scored at least 30 points in four of his last five games.
He also went 16-of-19 from the field, good for 84% shooting, while Jamal Murray added 23 points and Aaron Gordon had 17.
Denver won for the seventh time in eight games since a season-opening loss to the Golden State Warriors and currently sit third in the Western Conference.
"I think we are playing the right way," Jokic told NBC Sports. "We still can make simple and stupid mistakes.
"We cannot stop doing what's working for us, but when we're doing that, we are playing really good basketball."

Jokic was also thrilled with how well Denver's new additions, like Jonas Valanciunas, who got 10 points and seven rebounds in his 15 minutes on the court.
"It's great just to have a really good backup big man [Valanciunas] who's really dominant, who played in the league for a long time and who we had a brutal one-on-one championship with, he's bringing out the energy every night," he said.
"It's really great to have him on our team."
