Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark and two of her teammates were announced as starters for the WNBA All-Star Game on Thursday.
Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston will represent the Fever on July 25 in Chicago in the mid-season showcase, which will feature former greats Teresa Weatherspoon and Cynthia Cooper leading their own teams as general managers as part of the league’s 30th season celebration.
A'ja Wilson (Las Vegas Aces), Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty), Paige Bueckers (Dallas Wings), rookie Olivia Miles (Minnesota Lynx), Gabby Williams (Golden State Valkyries), Jessica Shepard (Wings) and Natasha Howard (Lynx) round out the 10 starters.
The league’s head coaches will select 12 reserves to be announced Tuesday, with Weatherspoon and Cooper then picking All-Stars from the group to create two teams.
