Newcastle United have announced the signing of right-back Amar Dedic from Benfica.
Dedic has signed a five-year deal at St. James' Park following a reported £29.5m (€34.5m) deal with the Portuguese side.
The 24-year-old spent just one season with Benfica, making 44 appearances across all competitions, including 14 in the Champions League.
In the Primeira Liga last season, Dedic scored once and provided four assists as Benfica ended the league campaign without defeat, despite finishing third.
Dedic is now reunited with Matthias Jaissle at Newcastle, with the Magpies boss previously coaching the Bosnia-Herzegovina international at both FC Liefering and RB Salzburg.
"It's a special feeling and a really big honour for me to join Newcastle United," Dedic told the club website.

"I'm really happy to be here and can't wait to start playing for the club and the amazing fans.
"Working with Matthias again was a big factor for me. We know each other well, he knows what I can bring on the pitch and I'm really happy to be playing for him again.
"Playing Premier League football at St. James' Park is going to be really special. Every game feels like a big occasion, with an amazing atmosphere. I'm really excited to get started."
Dedic also featured at this summer's World Cup for Bosnia, making three appearances before being knocked out in the round of 32 by co-host United States.
He is set to replace Kieran Trippier in the right-back role for Newcastle, with the latter joining Wolves on a free transfer earlier this summer.
Newcastle and Jaissle have a difficult start to the season as they host Liverpool before travelling to Tottenham, either side of an EFL Cup tie with West Brom.
