Barcelona should not hesitate to make Marcus Rashford's stay permanent after a season on loan at Camp Nou, believes midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
Rashford joined the Blaugrana on a temporary deal after falling out of favour at Manchester United, having also spent six months on loan at Aston Villa last season.
But he has looked a player reborn in Catalonia, contributing 14 goals and 11 assists in all competitions for Hansi Flick's side.
Only Lamine Yamal (41), Fermin Lopez (30) and Raphinha (28) have more total goal involvements for the Blaugrana this season than Rashford, who also scored a stunning free-kick in a title-clinching victory over Clasico rivals Real Madrid earlier this month.
United are reportedly keen for Rashford to depart permanently, and after helping Barca retain their LaLiga title, the forward has expressed his desire to stay.
And team-mate De Jong is hoping for the same outcome, telling Sport ES: "Yes, I believe [he should stay]. In the minutes he's played, he has given us a lot: goals, assists, depth.
"He is a fast player who threatens rival defences. I would be delighted if he continued with us.
"He arrived here with a lot of enthusiasm. He was very happy to be here, and from the first moment he arrived, you could already see that he wanted to stay.
"He's tried to adapt as best he could, and I've seen him do well."

Rashford's 25 goal involvements this term are more than he managed in either of his last two seasons, having recorded 13 for United in 2023-24, and 19 in 2024-25 (10 for United, nine for Villa).
