For the first time in more than five weeks, Giannis Antetokounmpo is expected to play for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Antetokounmpo is slated to make his return from a right calf strain in the Bucks' game against the visiting Boston Celtics on Monday, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. He is officially listed as questionable on the NBA injury report.
Antetokounmpo, 31, has been sidelined since January 23, so will likely be on a minutes restriction after missing Milwaukee's last 15 games.
The Bucks (26-33) went 8-7 without the two-time NBA MVP, and are currently in 11th place in the Eastern Conference - three games back of the Charlotte Hornets for the final spot in the Play-In Tournament.
Antetokounmpo, who also missed 12 games in November and December due to a groin and calf strain, was the biggest name on the trading block ahead of this year's trade deadline, but Milwaukee opted to keep the face of the franchise through at least the remainder of the season.
Despite his injuries, Antetokounmpo was still voted to his 10th All-Star Game in February with averages of 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 30 contests.
