Inter brought the curtain down on their double-winning season by drawing 3-3 with Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, having fought back from 3-1 down.
Cristian Chivu, who was named Serie A Coach of the Year this week after clinching the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia in his first campaign at the helm, saw his side take a 22nd-minute lead through Federico Dimarco's exquisite free-kick.
But they were pegged back only three minutes later, with Federico Bernardeschi finding the bottom corner with the outside of his boot after a ricochet off Stefan de Vrij.
And after Remo Freuler missed a good chance, fellow midfielder Tommaso Pobega saw his effort deflect in off Petar Sucic to establish a 2-1 lead for Bologna late in the first half.
A calamitous own goal made things even tougher for Inter three minutes after the restart, as Piotr Zielinski diverted Juan Miranda's cutback towards his own goal and beyond the desperate dive of Josep Martinez.
But even after Chivu withdrew the likes of Lautaro Martinez and Nicolo Barella, Inter stormed back to ensure a share of the spoils.
A rampaging run from Andy Diouf resulted in his shot bouncing off the post and straight to Francesco Pio Esposito, who applied a simple finish, and Diouf then got the equaliser four minutes from time, galloping onto a throughball from substitute Luka Topalovic and rifling into the roof of the net for his first Serie A goal.

While Inter end the season with 87 points, Bologna are now assured of an eighth-placed finish. That will not be enough for Europe, though, having already seen their top-seven hopes ended before Saturday's game.
Data Debrief: Goalfest brings an end to dominant Inter campaign
This was the second time Inter have drawn their final Serie A match of the season in the last eight campaigns, with the other eight instances all resulting in victories. And, across those matches, Inter have scored 28 goals – an average of 2.8 per game.
Their late fightback means this is the fourth-best campaign in their Serie A history, accounting for three-points-for-a-win all-time, having only accrued more than 87 points in 2006-07 (97), 2020-21 (91) and 2023-24 (94).
However, conceding three goals does mean the Nerazzurri's hopes of ending the season with Serie A's best defensive record have taken a big blow, having now conceded 35 times (Como, Roma, Juventus and Milan have conceded fewer with a game to play).
Only once in the last 18 seasons have the Scudetto winners not conceded the fewest goals – Juventus in 2019-20 under Maurizio Sarri.
